Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Base Comp: $140-160k, + strong equity and bonus

We are seeking a hands‑on, forward‑thinking Machine Learning Lead to drive the next phase of a cutting‑edge computer vision platform. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, startup‑style environment and is passionate about building, deploying, and scaling ML solutions that solve real‑world customer problems. The ideal candidate is both a builder and a leader
—able to bridge the gap between research and production, mentor a diverse international team, and grow into a Director or VP role as the company scales.

• End‑to‑End Model Ownership
  :
  Design, develop, deploy, and maintain ML models for customer engagements.
• Customer Collaboration
  :
  Work directly with clients to define solutions and ensure successful adoption.
• ML Infrastructure
  :
  Architect pipelines for rapid deployment, testing, and monitoring at scale.
• Innovation
  :
  Drive R&D in LLMs, GenAI, and deep learning frameworks.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Manage and mentor a distributed team across the US, Europe, and India.
• Startup Mindset
  :
  Operate with resourcefulness, pragmatism, and a focus on outcomes.

• 7–10 years of hands‑on ML experience, with a strong focus on computer vision.
• Proven track record of deploying ML models in production.
• Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Strong leadership skills, including managing offshore teams.
• Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• US Citizenship or Green Card required (due to export control requirements).
• Startup experience or clear desire to thrive in one.

Preferred: Experience in computer vision for quality inspection, prior work in both large tech and startups, and a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility.
