Job Description

We are seeking a fully-vaccinated IT Technician/Representative to join our team! As an IT Representative, you will work to ensure client satisfaction with technical support systems and services. These representatives monitor and troubleshoot the functionality of equipment and information systems as needed to ensure smooth operation both on-site and remotely for CML personnel and clients.

Duties

Handling and documenting incoming phone calls from clients and staff to assist with questions, concerns, or complaints regarding IT equipment and systems in a timely manner.

Make and document outgoing calls to clients and staff regarding IT equipment and systems in a timely manner.

Monitors data systems daily to ensure that they are functioning properly.

Investigates any notifications of downed systems or equipment, troubleshoots and identifies the source of the problem, and implements corrective action to resolve the issues per standard operating procedures.

Communicates with supervisors and managers regarding any chronic system issues that may be identified.

Communicates effectively and professionally with clients and peers to resolve technical issues.

Generate reports using data systems as requested by management.

Creates user accounts as requested by clients or management staff.

Other data entry tasks and phone call assignments, as needed.

Communicates with third-party vendors for additional technical support as needed to maintain IT department operations.

Willingness to develop additional skills related to position and ability to comprehend basic technical systems and how they function.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with benefits. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel

May be asked to travel in a company car to client facilities to install, remove or troubleshoot CML equipment.

Preferred Experience

A High School Degree is required
Computer Science or IT related Degree is not required but is preferred
Familiarity with troubleshooting Tier 1 and/ or Tier 2 level technical support
Web Application Experience (Google Suite, Billing software, Laboratory Information Systems, etc.)
