• Collaborate with faculty on research projects, including grant submissions and statistical data analysis
• Lead research teams in developing and executing analytic plans
• Provide ongoing education and mentorship in biostatistics to trainees and collaborators
• Oversee project management frameworks and establish key performance indicators for group productivity
• Supervise, hire, and train biostatisticians and data scientists, ensuring effective team dynamics

• Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
• Advanced knowledge of statistical principles in medical research, including longitudinal data analysis
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Perl, Java, C++)
• Experience leading research teams and managing daily operations of a collaborative biostatistics/data science group

• Ability to develop new statistical methods leading to grant funding and publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience with Linux operating systems and high-performance computing
• Proven track record of writing federal grant submissions, including power and sample size calculations
