Quality Assurance Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Seattle, WA(Hybrid) . Responsibilities include executing and managing testing efforts, automating tests with Selenium and Java, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing frameworks and efficiency.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Assurance Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Planning, executing, and managing the testing efforts for a variety of projects across multiple lines of business and technology platforms.
• Automating tests using API and UI frameworks like Selenium, Java, and SOAP UI.
• Collaborating with development teams, product owners, and business partners to ensure optimal test coverage and high-quality software delivery.
• Participating in SCRUM ceremonies and validating stories to ensure timely delivery of features in sprints.
• Continuously driving test efficiencies, enhancing frameworks, and improving the enterprise testing process.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of proven software test engineering experience in an Agile Development Environment.
• Expertise in Selenium, Java, and API/UI test automation.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as SOAP UI, JIRA, HP ALM, and experience with mobile application testing.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
