Senior Workday System Analyst

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will provide technical support, development, configuration and ongoing maintenance of our Workday system as we execute an HR digital transformation delivering numerous new capabilities and features company-wide. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Software Development, Testing and Deployment, and responsible for business process configuration, report development, Workday Integration support and security configuration, and other related system enhancements, and be a steward of our system and data.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to gather requirements and configure Workday Recruiting across the hiring lifecycle, including requisitions (including evergreen), postings, candidate stages, screening questionnaires, assessments, interviews, offers, dispositioning, and the handoff to onboarding.
• Design, build, and maintain business processes, condition rules, approval routing, and notifications that match Talent Acquisition workflows and company policy. Weigh stakeholder requests against best practices, scalability, and maintainability, favoring clean foundations over legacy workarounds.
• Build custom applications and automations with Workday Extend and Orchestrate to close feature gaps, and support and troubleshoot integrations with recruiting-adjacent systems (job boards, background check and assessment vendors, candidate communication tools) using EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Lead the Talent Acquisition workstream on configuration and implementation efforts, including tenant configuration, staffing model decisions, testing cycles, data conversion and validation, cutover, and post-go-live support, working with a deployment partner where applicable.
• Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields that give Talent Acquisition and HR leaders visibility into pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and other hiring metrics.
• Manage security configuration using least-privilege access, validate all changes through sandbox and proxy testing, and run regression testing for Workday's semi-annual releases. Provide production support through Jira/Service Now by triaging, resolving, and documenting incidents to maintain data integrity.
• Train recruiters and hiring managers on Workday processes, and maintain configuration documentation, run books, and data dictionaries with HR data governance. Communicate tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and stay current on Workday features and talent acquisition practices to propose improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Workday experience, including 3+ years configuring Workday Recruiting.
• Experience leading a Workday module through a full implementation lifecycle, from design and build through testing, cutover, and go-live.
• Hands-on expertise in business process design, condition rules, approval routing, notifications, and core Recruiting configuration.
