About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Interim IT Auditor for a remote, 3+ month consulting opportunity with a leading fintech and payments company. This role will focus on IT SOX testing, IT General Controls (ITGC), and IT Application Controls, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality audit work and supporting key compliance activities. The ideal consultant brings recent, hands-on IT SOX experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced financial services environment.

What You Will Work On:
Perform IT SOX testing, including IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls. Execute hands-on testing of IT Application Controls and Key Reports. Prepare and maintain thorough, high-quality audit work papers documenting testing procedures, results, and supporting evidence. Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness and identify potential control gaps or deficiencies. Support audit activities involving AWS environments. Document findings and communicate testing results clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Manage assigned testing responsibilities independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.

What You Will Bring:
Recent, hands-on experience with IT SOX testing and IT General Controls (ITGC). Strong experience testing IT Application Controls.

Experience with Key Report testing and preparing high-quality audit work papers. Working knowledge of AWS environments. Ability to work independently and manage testing activities with minimal oversight. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
