We are currently seeking both in-person and remote US-based Russian interpreters in Snohomish, Washington. An In-Person Russian interpreter will provide interpretation services across various settings, including medical and educational environments, empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.

Candidate

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience
• Effectively interpret between Russian and English and vice versa
• Adhere to guidelines for NCIHC Code of Ethics / Standards of Practice
• Complete assigned tasks, projects, and paperwork accurately and promptly within approved guidelines
• Quickly learn and implement new and changing technologies
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment
• Willingness and ability to undertake additional duties and assignments regularly
• Proficient in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and internet use
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

VRI Requirements (if applicable):

• Computer or Laptop with Windows 10 or higher
• Steady wired internet connection with minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps
• Webcam
• USB wired headset
• Backdrop with a solid, contrasting color such as royal blue, charcoal, or bright green
