Seattle – Labor and Employment Midlevel Associate
Join Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP as a midlevel associate in our Labor & Employment practice group. We seek a highly qualified candidate with 3-5 years of experience at a large law firm.
Responsibilities• Represent clients in employment litigation including single‑plaintiff cases, wage and hour and class‑action lawsuits, internal investigations, restrictive covenant litigation, and arbitrations.
• Brief motions, propound and respond to discovery, including ESI discovery.
• Conduct research, organize matter files, draft legal documents, and analyze complex legal issues.
- Three to five years of experience in a large law firm; strong preference for employment litigation experience.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing and analytical skills.
- Active Washington Bar membership required.
- Experience in briefing motions and discovery is essential; knowledge of ESI discovery is a plus.
Salary range: $260,000 – $365,000, determined during the interview process and may vary based on experience and market factors. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Eligible employees may participate in a 401(k), company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and disability plans and receive paid holidays, personal days, sick leave, vacation, bereavement leave, paid parental and pregnancy disability leave. Additional benefits include an Employee Assistance Program, Work/Life Services, and commutation benefits.
All employees are hired at‑will and may experience adjustments to base salary.
