A top-tier Am Law 100 firm is seeking a motivated and well-qualified associate to join its nationally recognised Litigation and Disputes practice in Seattle. The role offers substantial responsibility across high‑stakes matters involving financial services disputes, white‑collar criminal issues, corporate internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and False Claims Act litigation. This is a strong platform for an associate seeking hands‑on experience within a sophisticated and dynamic practice.
Key Responsibilities- Support internal investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, and white‑collar criminal defence.
- Handle financial services disputes and related litigation across all phases of case development.
- Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and investigative reports with precision and strong analytical insight.
- Conduct legal research, manage discovery, and assist in preparing for trials and hearings.
- Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on complex, cutting‑edge matters for major corporate clients.
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to white‑collar, investigations, or financial services disputes.
- Experience as a federal or state prosecutor or in federal criminal defence is highly advantageous.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with excellent academic credentials.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing significant responsibility in fast‑moving matters.
- Team‑focused with strong communication and client service skills.
