A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Counsel for its Seattle, WA office with 8–12 years of relevant litigation experience
. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance bad faith and coverage litigation and complex commercial litigation
. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment while providing practical, business focused legal advice.

• Handle insurance bad faith and coverage litigation matters
• Manage complex commercial litigation cases
• Independently run cases from inception through resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Handle oral arguments and trial appearances
  
  Serve as first chair on matters with hands on case leadership
• Appear in both federal and state courts
• Provide strategic, business friendly legal counsel to clients
• Manage cases with minimal oversight

• Juris Doctor (JD) required
• Licensed to practice in Washington;
  Oregon license a plus
• 8–12 years of litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience independently handling full lifecycle litigation matters
• Deposition, trial, and oral advocacy experience preferred
• Federal and state court experience preferred
• Some portable business is a plus, but not required
