Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, organize, and manage medical records in collaboration with assigned legal teams.
  • Enter and maintain data within case management systems.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of all medical information in compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and RCW guidelines.
  • Work proactively to obtain medical records while maintaining strong communication with legal teams.
  • Apply RCW guidelines related to the cost and release of medical records and billing.
  • Support legal teams by ensuring timely, accurate record access and organization.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Prior clerical experience required; experience with medical records or in a law firm strongly desired.
  • Experience in plaintiff personal injury law preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software, accurate typing skills (minimum 50 WPM).
  • Excellent organization, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures, record‑keeping, and office equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly base pay range: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
    .
  • Bonus-eligible, non‑exempt position.
