Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Associate Attorney to join our Seattle or Tacoma office. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney who is looking to gain broad experience and grow within a reputable and collegial firm. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys on a wide range of matters and will have the opportunity to develop skills across multiple practice areas.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct legal research, drafting, and analysis in support of litigation and transactional matters
- Prepare pleadings, motions, contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Participate in client meetings, court appearances, and depositions (with appropriate mentorship and supervision)
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff across practice groups
- Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar, or the ability to become licensed within a reasonable time
- 0–2 years of relevant legal experience (internships, clerkships, or clinical experience may be considered)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professionalism, reliability, and a desire to learn
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrated interest or background in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas
- Law review, moot court, or other notable academic or extracurricular accomplishments
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis Nexis
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal office setting
