Position: Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Role

We’re seeking a talented Employment Law Associate to join our growing team in Seattle. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with innovative, fast‑growing companies and handle a wide range of complex employment law matters. The ideal candidate will bring sharp analytical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for solving challenging workplace issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent employers in employment law disputes, including trade secret and non‑compete litigation
  • Provide day‑to‑day counseling to clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Draft, review, and refine employment agreements, policies, and handbooks
  • Conduct internal investigations and advise on a range of workforce management issues
  • Support corporate transactions by advising on employment‑related aspects and due diligence
  • Education: J.D. from a top‑tier law school with an outstanding academic record
  • Bar Admission: Active membership in the Washington State Bar, in good standing
  • Experience: 2–3 years of substantive experience in management‑side employment law, including both litigation and counseling
  • Expertise: Proven ability to handle matters involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and other employment‑related litigation
  • Advisory

    Skills:

    Experience counseling employers on terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and employment policies
  • Preferred Background: Familiarity with employment issues in M&A and other corporate transactions
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Work Style: Commitment to in‑person collaboration in our Seattle office
