About

the Role

The Labor & Employment Practice Group is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its Seattle office. This role offers the opportunity to focus primarily on employment litigation while also gaining exposure to advisory work for employers. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on litigation experience and a strong interest in partnering with clients to manage employment risk and compliance.

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Washington; licensure is preferred or willingness to waive into Washington.

What You’ll Do
  • Litigate employment‑related matters on behalf of employers.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery in state and federal court.
  • Advise clients on employment law compliance and workplace issues.
  • Assist with drafting employee handbooks and employment‑related agreements (as needed).
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop proactive risk‑management strategies.
  • Partner closely with senior attorneys to deliver practical, business‑focused solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of solid litigation experience, including employment matters.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Client‑focused mindset with strong communication skills.
