The Seattle, WA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to work in the Conflicts Department within the Office of General Counsel. This role will be responsible for reviewing conflict check reports and identifying, advising, analyzing, and resolving potential conflicts of interest and working directly with attorneys to clear conflicts related to the hiring of new partners, associates, paralegals, and other firm hires.
This position ensures new hires are compliant with the Firm's conflicts and risk management policies and procedures. There are no billable hour requirements for this position.
We offer competitive compensation in the range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with employer match. We also offer excellent opportunities for growth and advancement while working with a collaborative team.
Qualifications- Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and active member of the Bar, in good standing, in the State of Washington
- At least 3–10 years of experience as a Lateral Conflicts Attorney in a large law firm setting with demonstrated research and complex problem‑solving skills, or at least 3 years of experience as a general Conflicts Attorney with at least one year of cumulative experience related to the clearance of lateral hires
- Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data; excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Close attention to detail, collaborative team member, self‑motivated and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with Law Time and/or Aderant preferred
