Insurance Defense Attorney

A well-established, mid-sized Pacific Northwest law firm with a long-standing presence in the insurance defense space is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Seattle-area practice. The firm maintains a steady stream of work through established relationships with national and regional insurance carriers, offering associates consistent exposure to defense litigation and opportunities for hands-on case ownership.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a docket of insurance defense matters from assignment through resolution
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and case evaluations
• Take and defend depositions and attend hearings as experience allows
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, including witness coordination and strategy development
• Communicate regularly with insurance carriers, adjusters, and clients regarding case status and exposure
