We are a mid-sized, multi-state law firm seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including contracts, real estate and transactions. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to conduct thorough research using Westlaw, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients.
The Attorney will work collaboratively within a law office environment and will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive attorney to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on lease agreements, purchase and sales contracts, and related transactional matters.
- Conduct legal research and risk analysis to support client needs and business operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Washington.
- 3-5 years experience in transactional, contract or real estate law is preferred.
- Strong legal writing and drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
