You will work as part of our Seattle-based project team supporting Sound Transit’s LINK Light Rail system, and potentially other clients in Western USA. • Identify ways to increase competition and alternative suppliers for sole-sourced spare parts in the transit supply chain.
  • Identify ways to increase inventory accuracy.
  • Use technology to automate the creation and revision of Order Points and Order Quantities.
  • Lead the development of Bills of Material for planned and unplanned repairs, and the creation of parts kits to increase “wrench time” and the effectiveness of the maintenance team.
  • In partnership with Instructional Designers, develop training programs for key stakeholders involved in the supply chain.
  • Using your communication skills, articulate what great looks like in the supply chain, and create a coalition that supports change and optimization of the supply chain.
  • Develop Process Maps and Value Stream Maps to illustrate the current state and illustrate opportunities to create value.
  • Publish recommendations and reports for our clients in support of supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement performance metrics and dashboards to track supply chain trends and actions to improve performance.
