The Associate Director of Housing Case Management for Permanent Housing Support Services (PHSS) is responsible for daily operations of multiple sites, including housing services, programs, client case management, hiring, and performance management. This role supports compliance, contractual goals, and budget management in partnership with the VP of Client Services, contributing to the growth and stability of PHSS and the Housing department.

Key responsibilities include on‑site case management and behavioral health services at Olive Towers, Queen Anne, and Wallingford locations, traveling between sites and the Georgetown Yards office. The role requires oversight of high‑acuity, chronically homeless clients, ensuring comprehensive support for both clients and staff.

Essential Duties
  • Promote the highest quality housing stability and homelessness prevention service delivery in a culturally mindful manner.
  • Serve as a representative of Lifelong to community partners, forging new connections and enhancing existing collaborations.
  • Maintain timely communication with ReblX and partner agencies.
  • Directly manage the Housing Supervisor and Housing Case Management Team.
  • Ensure all staff are trained on DFNet and HMIS data entry.
  • Manage employee performance, provide job expectations, resources, and timely feedback.
  • Oversee staff supervision, training, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Assist staff in locating and cultivating local housing and supportive services.
  • Create performance improvement plans, schedule corrective training, and collaborate with HR.
  • Enforce policies, mediate office conflicts, and address client grievances.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Client Services on departmental administration and fiscal management.
  • Approve program, staff, and office expenditures.
  • Approve staff time‑off requests and timesheets accurately.
  • Participate in all Quality Assurance activities.
  • Support internal audits, site visits, and maintain confidential client information.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of program successes and deficiencies.
  • Analyze data to respond to programmatic challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Core Competencies
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with community partners.
  • Understanding of King County Coordinated Entry and HMIS systems.
  • Experience supervising staff working with clients with complex behavioral barriers.
  • Experience in harm reduction and housing‑first modalities.
  • Strong communication, time‑management, and crisis‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a social services or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalently skilled education and experience.
  • 3‑5 years of progressive supervisory and leadership experience.
  • 3‑5 years of experience delivering housing to low‑income clients supported by government grants and contracts.

Work Environment
