Salary Range: $90k - $100k/annually, depending on relevant experience.
Summary:
The Operations Manager oversees warehouse, distribution, and field operations supporting commercial office furniture projects, including furniture installations, office relocations, refurbishing, storage, and project delivery. This role is responsible for day-to-day operational execution, team leadership, safety, quality, and cost control while ensuring a high level of service for internal and external customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage warehouse operations, commercial office furniture installation projects, office moves, space planning, field services, and warehouse labor teams.
- Manage warehousing, inventory, customer storage, refurbishing, and distribution.
- Manage commercial office furniture installations and relocation operations.
- Coordinate daily scheduling, logistics, and resource planning.
- Drive productivity, quality control, and workplace safety.
- Serve as primary operations contact for internal teams and customers.
- Hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of warehouse and field staff.
- Partner with the COO on budgeting, operational planning, and facilities oversight.
- Oversee the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- 5+ years of experience managing warehouse operations, field operations, and furniture installation teams as an Operations Manager or Project Manager in a commercial office furniture, facility resources, space planning, and office relocation environment.
- Experience managing commercial office furniture projects, office relocations, furniture installations, facility resources, storage, and warehouse operations is required.
- Proven people management and leadership experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and field services.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings, including hands‑on experience with tools.
- Strong, working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and Workplace Safety Regulations (OSHA training is required).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A College Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License required.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from Kent, WA daily.
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
