Position Overview The Engagement Manager II (EM II) is a delivery leadership position owning the end-to-end execution of services and projects for a strategic technology client, across a range of work streams that may include AI/GenAI initiatives. Strong program and project management skills are central to the role, including experience with pitching, developing solutions and approaches, team management, workflow oversight, client interactions, and reporting.

Familiarity with how AI/ML-related engagements are scoped, resourced, and measured is a valuable plus but not a prerequisite.

The EM II owns contract management and service delivery for their portfolio and provides guidance and mentorship to a team of Delivery Resources operating at the Line of Business level with partners across the enterprise.

The Engagement Manager II creates and nurtures relationships with strategic client stakeholders, establishing the role of partner, or trusted advisor, and is measured by customer satisfaction, customer retention/expansion, financial targets achieved, and billable utilization across all engagements in their portfolio. The ability to effectively communicate both up and downstream is a must, along with a results-oriented and positive attitude.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Program Management:
Oversee multiple engagements with varying delivery models for a strategic client ensuring that objectives are achieved, delivered according to schedule, and within budget.
Strategic Client Relationship Management:
Build rapport with client stakeholders to understand their long-term goals, aligns services accordingly, and stay informed on industry trends to inform value-based conversations acting as a proactive, strategic, customer-focused trusted advisor to clients and internal partners alike.
Stakeholder Communication:
Regularly inform internal and external stakeholders about the progress, challenges, and results of engagement activities.
Engagement Value Realization:
Map the client organization, assess engagement-to-business line ratio, and identify opportunities where engagements align with business impact. Use value-framework content in business reviews to show how the organization delivers value to clients.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of delivery resources including direct reports through regular feedback, performance reviews, and hands-on mentorship, building a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and growth.
Financial Management:
Manage the financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.
