Shift Manager Lead

San Juan Seltzer is a high-growth leader in the spiked seltzer category. The company has recently invested in a state-of-the-art filling and packaging systemand seeks a Shift Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the entire canning and packaging system. The system includes a20-head counter-pressure filler, a water deaerator, an in-line batching skid andcarbonator, an intermittent-motion tray packer, an intermittent-motion cartoner,an end-of-arm tooling robot, and a large conveyance system.

This role will be responsible for leading the packaging team through day-to-day production runs andthe execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly production schedule.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced “team-first” and “safety-first”environment.
• Lead all packaging line initiatives as directed by the Production Manager and Brewing Team.
• Oversee the filling and packaging team to ensure products are completed on-time and in-spec.
• Fill in on the line for filler operators, packaging machine operators, andline workers as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Ensure QC and safety procedures are adhered to throughout the shift.
• Keep meticulous records of production quantities, machine maintenance,production materials, etc.
• Other tasks as required.

• 3+ years of production experience, preferably in a beverage alcoholenvironment.
• Leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating filling and packaging equipment, preferably in a beveragealcohol environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours per day in a warehouse environment.
