• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years experience operating autofold, laser, press brake/turret or other metal fabrication tools
• Good knowledge of fabrication machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi‑task
• Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools
• Read and understand work orders and job schedules
• Must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment drug test
• Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, and lift 70 pounds occasionally

• Safe operation of autofold, press brake, shear and various other tools used to complete projects.
• Create quality and accurate cuts/bends/folds according to blueprints.
• Cut and label all sheet metal for jobs on the floor.
• Use welding and other metal processing equipment – a plus.
• Use measuring equipment such as tape measure, micrometer, calipers, square, protractor, etc…
• Perform basic math and verify job requirements, specifications, maintaining quality standards.
• Follow and enforce all VDI safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure equipment is properly set‑up & used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
• Operate forklift, if required and certified.
• Perform inspections on product before, during, and after the build following VDI’s standards.
• Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required.
• Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repair as required.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Salary for Washington State Based Applicants: $23.00–$28.00 per hour (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation).
