We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment. Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. You will operate equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
Complete batch records and associated documentation.
- Prepare and layout parts received from outside and internal processing for the part marking process.
- Verify planning and/or PO is complete and that all open issues have been closed.
- Request QC and supervision support as required.
- Confirm part quantities are per appropriate paperwork.
- Apply part mark as required using ink-jet machine and verify part with Quality Assurance.
- Package part per work order and customer requirements;
Deliver part to inventory. - Enter jobs into Part Marking Log;
Maintain log and report results to supervision as required. - Clean ink-jet machine to maintain proper flow and final marking consistency;
Load ink and properly dispose of spent cartridges. - Small assembly of parts.
- In downtime periods, run repeat jobs on CNC machine.
- Familiarity with computer-based MRP data entry.
- Blueprint reading and basic math skills.
- Basic English language skills and ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions.
- Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others.
- Willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience preferred but not required
