Position OverviewThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced and Lead Level Customer Technical Training Specialist to support the Training Team in Seattle, WA.
The primary focus of this role is to develop, conduct, and evaluate the effectiveness of technical training. This requires the analysis of customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design. Additional duties include research, courseware updates, and the development of new media in support of customer training.
This is an on-site Seattle position and is primarily a 1st shift role; occasional adjustments may be required to support classes, meetings, workshops, etc. Travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally, is expected.
Position Responsibilities- Independently conducts customer training in broad subject areas using the approved medium to satisfy customer training requirements.
- Conducts analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design.
- Develops, conducts, and evaluates effectiveness of technical training. Uses specialized software to research, configure, maintain, update, and develop new and existing media and materials.
- Travels for work up to 25% of the time.
- Adjusts shift as needed; primarily a 1st shift position but may require changes to support classes, meetings, workshops, etc.
- Works under general supervision.
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
- Experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance, and operations manuals.
- Experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
- 5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and modification (hands‑on technician work on aircraft).
- Capable of traveling 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
- 5+ years’ of higher education and/or related work experience.
- Licensed Aircraft Mechanic.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- 2+ years’ experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
- Experience maintaining large complex commercial aircraft and providing instruction on the same.

Experience‑Level Summary Pay Range: $82,450 – $111,550
Lead‑Level Summary Pay Range: $102,850 – $139,150
