Overview

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

It focuses on manufacturing and supply chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Safely operating and owning vacuum furnaces, including preventive maintenance
  • Continuously seeking improvement opportunities in all aspects of thermal processing
Special Mentions
  • Relocation provided
  • Shifts available:
    First Shift (5:00 am to 1:30 pm) and Second Shift (1:00 pm – 9:30 pm) Monday through Friday
Qualifications
  • 5 years of aerospace thermal processing experience
  • Experience processing aerospace materials such as copper, nickel, and titanium alloys
  • Familiarity with performing furnace preventative maintenance
  • Self‑motivated with ability to work within a team or independently
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work in small or restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
Desired
  • 5+ years of aerospace vacuum thermal processing experience
  • Experience with post‑process testing such as hardness, alpha case, and mechanical testing
  • Experience working with Materials Engineers to design, test, and document heat treatment and braze processes
  • Crane operator or lift coordinator experience
Compensation Range for WA applicants is $29.04‑$40.65 Other Site Ranges May Differ Culture Statement
