What You'll Be Doing- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy‑duty equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- Teamsters 174 union position.
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer- $47.86 per hour
- Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension.
- Union paid vacation 40 hours (5 days) per year and paid sick 40 hours per year.
