Public Relations Specialist

Overview

Our client, a well-established software company in the aerospace industry, is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to join their team.

We are looking for a HIGH ENERGY PR professional to develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies, manage social media presence, create engaging promotional materials, and coordinate public appearances and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance company and new book launch visibility (most important need).
• Manage and grow social media presence across all platforms.
• Create engaging promotional materials using latest software tools.
• Craft press releases, articles, and content to attract media attention and public interest.
• Leverage existing media contacts and industry influencers.
• Coordinate public appearances, book signings, and promotional events.
• Monitor and report on media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness.

• Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven PR experience, preferably in technology, aerospace, and business sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns.
• Proficiency in modern software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• High energy and travel flexibility.

• Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr).
• Graphic design software experience (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator).
• Video editing software (e.g., Cap Cut, InShot, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• Experience with social media analytics and insights (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, X Analytics).

This is a full-time opportunity working hybrid in the Seattle WA area. The annual salary is $75,000 - $95,000 depending on fit and experience. To apply, please submit your resume and portfolio link/case studies for immediate consideration.
