The Vice President of Marketing is a key senior leadership role responsible for driving marketing strategy in direct support of organizational growth, financial performance, and mission impact. This role requires a leader who acts as a strategic business partner to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to ensure marketing investments are inextricably linked to financial outcomes, including Return on Average Assets (ROAA), net interest margin, and loan/deposit growth.
The VP of Marketing must be a disciplined steward of member resources, capable of proving the return on marketing dollars spent. This role is responsible for auditing current capabilities, mentoring a developing staff to find their professional excellence, and possessing the strategic decisiveness to restructure the team as necessary to ensure the credit union and its membership are served by a high performing, metrics driven department.

- Base Pay: This position has a salary range of $137,070 (minimum) to $205,604 (maximum), with a midpoint of $171,337
. Starting pay is offered based upon an applicant’s experience and education relevant to the position. - Paid Time Off

All employees receive 11 paid holidays per year and 3 floating holidays, as well as paid time off (PTO is combined vacation and sick leave.) PTO starts accruing immediately at a rate of 20 days per year. - Benefits: Both full and part time employees (and their family) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, with a no cost option available for employee only coverage! Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and receive an employer match up to 6%.
- Other Benefits: This position is eligible for annual cash bonuses up to 1% and a 1% profit-sharing bonus to 401k accounts based on company performance.

- Translate organizational goals, specifically ROAA, margin pressure and ROA into clear marketing plans with defined, measurable outcomes
- Establish clear success metrics and decision thresholds, proactively recommend course corrections or the discontinuation of strategies when results do not meet expected thresholds
- Partner with Finance to forecast, track, and report marketing impact on financial outcomes, moving beyond engagement metrics to report on impact
- Perform strategic analysis of markets, identifying drivers, segments, and growth within CDFI aligned communities
- Co-create and activate differentiated marketing strategies that build trust and financial well-being with the diverse communities we serve
- Collaborate with PR firm and social/digital partners to develop messaging hierarchy and value propositions tailored to diverse demographic segments
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, out-of-home (OOH), etc.)
- Evaluate and discontinue campaigns, vendors, or channels when ROI thresholds are not met, demonstrating disciplined stewardship of member resources
- Serve as a liaison between Marketing and the functional areas of the business, ensuring marketing support for strategic initiatives, and compliance of brand standards
- Utilize evolving technology to capture and analyze marketing data, enhancing outreach effectiveness and personalization
- Oversee all aspects of creative, ensuring community focused storytelling reflects dignity, agency, and authenticity, avoiding extractive narratives while still delivering measurable business outcomes
