Who We Are:
Food Lifeline believes that hunger doesn’t have to happen, and our mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today and work to end hunger for tomorrow. We’re currently hiring a Volunteer Repack Coordinator as a member of our Volunteer Production team to help lead volunteers in repack activities and create a welcoming, enjoyable and safe working environment for volunteers.
Who You Are:
You care deeply about the intersections between hunger, poverty, racial inequity, and social injustice. You have knowledge of safe food handling techniques. You have experience with warehouse practices, documentation, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate also has volunteer supervisory experience and is able to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Salary: $/hour with full benefits including employer paid medical coverage for employees and children, dental, and vision insurance, employer paid basic life, long and short-term disability, and a company match for 403(b) retirement plans, and generous paid time off, including parental leave.
Position Type: This is a full-time, on-site position.
