The budgeted starting salary for this position ranges from $99,292.00 to $ annually. This is a salary-exempt position.

The Treehouse development team currently raises $14+ million annually and is on a path to grow contributed revenue to $20 million over the next five years. To that end, we seek a dynamic and experienced major gifts fundraiser and inspired team leader to drive our efforts to secure essential financial resources that advance our mission, vision, and intended impact.
The Director, Major & Individual Giving is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to grow philanthropic investment from individual donors. This role is central to advancing Treehouse’s mission by cultivating and stewarding transformational partnerships that deliver significant, sustainable revenue and meaningful engagement opportunities. This role will lead a team of fundraisers in qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a mature donor base with significant untapped capacity, while building a continuous pipeline of annual fund, mid-level, and major donors, developing and managing a robust planned giving program.
As a member of the Development leadership team, this position contributes to overall fundraising strategy, cross-team collaboration, and organizational leadership.
Strategic Campaign Planning & Leadership:
- Design, implement and evaluate an integrated individual giving strategy, including annual fund, mid-level, major gifts, and planned giving programs.
- Serve as the organization’s lead strategist on individual philanthropy, providing expertise, insights, and trends to staff, leadership, and the Board.
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive campaign in partnership with the Chief Development Officer, Board of Directors, Emeritus Board, and executive leadership.
- Participate in developing individual giving revenue projections and oversee budgeting and tracking expenses for all individual giving strategies.
- Set and monitor performance metrics to ensure achievement of short- and long-term fundraising goals.
- Partner with marketing and communications and learning and evaluation teams to create compelling donor-facing materials, including campaign collateral and impact reports.
