This activity is part of the Explorers - Seattle - 2026 youth program. Visit the youth program page to register a youth or as a chaperone for the program, register for or cancel from activities, or cancel entirely from the program.
Explorers feeling confident in their climbing abilities are welcomed to join this skills workshop to learn how to lead climb and lead belay. This will include skills ranging from clipping quick draws, practicing lead falls, use of a grigri, and more.
Land Acknowledgement - We will be recreating and learning on the lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Duwamish, who live here and steward these lands and waters as they have since time immemorial. The Seattle Mountaineers Youth Clubs encourages you to recreate mindfully and respectfully during our upcoming event on these native lands.
