We are looking for an energetic leader to:
Lead the church in worship through dynamic preaching.
Partner with our Church Council and congregation to implement and guard the integrity of the mission, vision, and values of Bon Air Baptist Church.
Collaborate with staff and lay leaders to equip church members to proclaim the Gospel, care for one another, and minister to others in the community.
Korean American Calvary Baptist Church (KACBC) is a small, warm, and faithful congregation located in Federal Way, WA. Our church family averages 30–40 in weekly worship attendance and consists of believers of all ages who love the Lord and one another. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Northwest Baptist Association, and we stand firmly on the authority of God’s Word and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Though our congregation is small, we are rich in faith, united in fellowship, and committed to being a light in our community.
To glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and evangelism. We strive to grow spiritually and share the love of Christ with our neighbors.

Our vision is to grow as a Christ-centered congregation, deepen discipleship, expand outreach, and prepare for the next chapter of ministry under the leadership of a new shepherd who shares our heart for God’s mission.
Qualifications- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a genuine call to pastoral ministry
- Meets the biblical qualifications of pastor/elder (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9)
- Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
- Master’s degree from an accredited seminary or divinity school preferred (or equivalent ministry experience)
- Licensed and ordained Baptist minister, or willing to be ordained within the Baptist fellowship
- Demonstrated experience in pastoral leadership or similar ministry role
- Strong preaching, teaching, and communication skills
A consistent personal walk with Christ evidenced by prayer and Scripture devotion - English fluency required;
Korean proficiency helpful but not required - A heart for youth and next-generation ministry
- Preaching & Teaching:
Deliver biblically faithful sermons; lead Bible studies and discipleship programs - Pastoral Care:
Provide counseling, visitation, and care during life events and challenges - Leadership & Vision:
Work collaboratively with church leadership to fulfill the mission and ministry goals of the church - Youth & Next-Generation Ministry:
Engage, mentor, and develop future leaders within the church - Community Outreach:
Support and equip members for service and evangelism

CompensationSalary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and determined in agreement with the church.
