Registered Nurse - PACU

Responsibilities

• The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services.
• Assists patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following hospitalization.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.
• Current incentives for qualifying external nurses with a 2‑year commitment: education loan forgiveness for qualifying loans, up to a $10,000 RN residency completion bonus for qualifying RN residents.
• Relocation assistance for experienced RNs.

• Current WA State RN license is required.
• 1 or more years of recent RN experience with acute care patients.
• CPR certification required every two years or as specified by the work.
• Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

• ACLS preferred.
• Two years of CCU and/or PACU experience preferred.
