Assistant Nurse Manager (RN)
Location: Harborview Medical Center Campus - Seattle, First Hill.
Schedule: 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day Shift.
Unit: 4WH-Trauma/Rehab Medicine unit. Provides care 24/7 to rehabilitation inpatients, therapy 3 hours per day, 6 days per week, plus 5 medical‑surgical beds for acute care patients and post‑operative sacral flap patients.
Responsibilities- Assume staff assignments and preceptor responsibilities as delegated by Nurse Manager.
- Perform leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management.
- Provide leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others.
- Collaborate with Nurse Manager on all unit activities.
- BSN degree in nursing.
- Acute Care nursing experience.
- WA State RN license.
- Charge Nurse experience.
- Two–three years of professional nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit-based skills, etc.).
- Pay Range Minimum: $ annual.
- Pay Range Maximum: $ annual.
- Other Compensation: BSN (or higher degree) Premium – $1.00/hour;
Certification (Specialty Certs) Premium – $1.25/hour;
Weekend Shift Premium – $4.00/hour;
Overtime Pay;
