RN - Oncology

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Oncology (Day Shift) in Seattle, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are 3x12 hours, Day Shift from 0700 to 1930. Weekend work is required every other weekend.

The Oncology Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients with lymphoma, solid tumors, and sarcoma. Key responsibilities include administering and monitoring chemotherapy, managing patient ports, performing IV starts, and providing patient education and support. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and transport patients to procedures/testing as needed. Experience in outpatient oncology is also considered.

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other treatments for oncology patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide education and support about treatment plans.
• Manage central venous catheters (CVCs) and perform port access.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during chemotherapy administration.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Transport patients to necessary procedures and testing as required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing is required. Candidates with 1 year of oncology experience paired with at least 2 years in an inpatient setting may also be considered.

• Current BLS certification.
• Chemo certification from ONS or ONCC is required.
