Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of one full year of RN experience in a NICU after graduation.
- Experience must be in a Level IV NICU.
- Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
The hiring manager will not consider candidates without actual NICU RN experience.
- At least one full year of Level IV NICU experience.
- Experience must be earned after graduation from a nursing program.
- Nursing school clinical rotations do not count.
- RN residency programs do not count.
- General pediatric, postpartum, newborn nursery, or other non-NICU experience cannot substitute for the required NICU experience.
