The City of Enumclaw is approximately 45 minutes southeast of Seattle, Washington, in King County, with a current population of about 11,600 residents. The city sits on the Enumclaw Plateau, nestled in the midst of green fields and picturesque dairy farms. The Cascade Mountains along with Mt. Rainier offer a dramatic backdrop for our community. Rainier” with easy access to world class skiing, hiking, climbing, hunting and fishing.
Police Department Information:
Enumclaw currently has 36 full‑time police department employees with 19 commissioned officers. The city also has its own jail with a staff of 7 corrections officers and a communications / 911 center with a staff of 7 communications specialists.
Under general supervision, seasonal parks maintenance workers assist full‑time staff in prepping ball fields, park inspections, and other duties assigned. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age, possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license. Varied work schedules are available that include evenings and weekends.
Under general supervision, stormwater pond maintenance workers assist full‑time staff in facility and ground maintenance duties such as painting, brush cutting, mowing, weeding, trimming, custodial, and other duties assigned. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age, possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
