- Provide academic leadership, supervision, and evaluation for our veterinary nursing faculty.
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve the program curriculum and teaching schedule.
- Monitor student success, implement retention strategies, and maintain an 80%+ success rate.
- Manage the program's budget, expenditures, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for AVMA accreditation, including preparing annual reports and self-studies.
- Teach courses as needed, sharing your hands‑on expertise directly with students.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical sites and our Program Advisory Board.
- Baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Graduation from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Three (3) years of occupational experience within the veterinary field and/or three (3) years of teaching experience in the veterinary field.
- Currently a credentialed veterinary technician.
- Current license, certification, or other designation as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the veterinary field.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
- Hiring Range - $93,635 to $117,040
