Quality Control Assistant

$20.27/hr to $30.41/hr (depending on experience)

Day Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Document procedures under direction, perform audits, interface with customer quality control staff.

• Experience with industrial Quality Control programs.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Able to create QC documents.
• Familiarity with MS Windows applications.

• Perform in-house and vendor QC Audits.
• Assist with implementation of quality requirements of contracts.
• Provide customer inspectors with documentation and assistance during their audits and final inspection of items.
• Be responsible for final inspection, documentation, certifications, etc. related to fabricated items.
• Answer customer inquiries.

• Experience with or qualification to ASNT-SNT-TC-1A Level I or II in Radiographic, Liquid Penetrant or Visual testing.
• Familiarity with military specifications and NAVSEA Technical Publications 248 (Welding Qualification), 271 (NDT Methods) and 278 (Fabrication, Welding and Inspection).
