*** Company is seeking a Metrology & Calibration Specialist in Seattle, WA. As a calibration technician, you will calibrate and certify various Measurement and Test Equipment, and also support development of procedures for test equipment.
*** has diverse metrology parameters such as precision dimensional and optical, precision mass, temperature-humidity, pressure, flow and force. You will tackle new and challenging problems every day. You will be supporting military and commercial programs such as 777X, 737

MAX, 787, P-8, Tanker, and others.

This role will be responsible for providing products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes and embrace first-time quality as a way of life not accepting, creating or passing any defects and speaking up.

• Supports and plans activities to conduct and document tests on measurement and test equipment
• Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities.
• Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
• Maintains test procedure revisions and updates
• Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems
• Works under general direction

• 3 or more years of calibration and certification work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Flow, Pressure, Linear Measurements, Temperature/Humidity, Electrical or other Physical Metrology processes

• Experience with electrical calibration/certification
• Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience
• Experience with Labview, C++, and Access
• Experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests
