Due’ Cucina Italiana is looking for a Hot Line Cook to join our Capitol Hill team! The restaurant is located at 412 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102.
We love food that is real, fresh and authentic. We serve homemade pasta bowls and other dishes inspired by the best of the Italian tradition. - Competitive compensation, based on experience $24.80-$26.80/hour (base wage of $21.30-$23.30/hour plus an additional $3.50/hour in tips (approximated) for a combined wage range of $24.80-$26.80/hour)

- Accurately and efficiently cook pasta, sauces, and other hot food items according to company standards.
- Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Handle all preparation for items required in daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor to ensure seamless BOH workflow.
- Take responsibility for daily hotline operations and maintain general kitchen cleanliness.
- Follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures consistently.
- Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at your station to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including the walk-in cooler.
- Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and food safety guidelines.
- Other duties as necessary and assigned.
- 1 year of previous kitchen experience
- High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team
- Ability to work under stress
- Attention to detail
- Passionate about food
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s card within 7 days of hire
- Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc.
- Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
- Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required)
