Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Lead Bartender who leads by example and keeps our bar team organized, prepared, and accountable. This is a full-time, on-site position in Seattle, WA.
The schedule is Wednesday–Sunday, typically 3–10 PM, with shifts extending until midnight on event nights. Weekend availability is required. This role closes the bar 2–3 times per week.
Responsibilities- Deliver attentive, welcoming service while preparing cocktails, wine, and beer consistently and accurately.
- Lead and support the bar team during service, setting clear expectations for hospitality, teamwork, and organization.
- Train bartenders on drink recipes, service standards, opening and closing procedures, and side work.
- Batch cocktails according to approved recipes and ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage.
- Keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for service; communicate inventory needs to management.
- Complete bar closing duties, including cash reconciliation, cleaning, restocking, and securing the station.
- Use Toast POS accurately and communicate with the kitchen, floor team, and management to keep service running smoothly.
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and uphold food safety standards.
- Previous lead or supervisory bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong cocktail knowledge, accurate drink preparation, and experience batching cocktails.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and food pairings; familiarity with Italian beverages is a plus.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and follow-through on daily responsibilities.
- Clear communication and the ability to coach coworkers respectfully and hold standards consistently.
- Strong organization, accurate cash handling, and experience with Toast POS;
Open Table familiarity is a plus. - Ability to stay composed during busy service, take initiative, and support the team where needed.
- Availability Wednesday–Sunday, including weekends and event nights until midnight.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform daily bar setup, service, and closing tasks.
- Current Washington MAST permit and food worker card.
