ATTENDANT, STOREROOM (PART TIME) – Bon Appétit Management Company

Part Time;
Tue, Wed, Thu 6AM-3AM.
Pay Range: $22.75–$24.75 per hour.
Requirement:
Prior food service and storeroom experience.
Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Responsible for receiving, storage and inventory of all departmental supplies and foodstuffs, along with maintaining sanitation in storage areas.

• Inventories and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Store food and supplies in correct containers and proper storage areas according to department guidelines.
• Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards.
• Dates, labels, and rotate stock according to procedures ensuring oldest product is utilized first.
• Order food and supplies based upon product specification established by company ordering protocols.
• Secure designated areas from potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies and equipment to safeguard associates; follow all security procedures regarding storeroom organization.
• Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment used to proper resources.
• Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
• Identify and utilize cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS sheets; utilize equipment in performing job functions according to department safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
