Golf Shop Assistant
Foster Golf Links is actively seeking seasonal, part‑time Golf Shop Assistants to join the team during our busy season. You will assist at the counter to fill the hours required to meet golf course operations from dawn to dusk, seven days a week during peak months. You will work approximately 16 hours per week, possibly more depending on business needs. Hours and days of work will vary.
Must be available between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. seven days a week. These positions will not exceed 1,040 hours in a twelve‑month period and are not benefit or retirement eligible.
Foster Golf Links (FGL) is an 18‑hole PGA‑rated golf course owned and operated by the City of Tukwila and encompasses nearly 77 acres of green space, including a pro shop, restaurant, and banquet space. FGL provides a quality golfing experience for those that live, work, and play in Tukwila.

- Closes and secures the Pro Shop.
- Books tee time, sells green fees and acts as course starter.
- Maintains cleanliness of the Pro Shop.
- Use customer service skills to respond to public inquiries regarding fees, equipment rental, merchandise and related courses and pro shop information, in person and on the telephone.
- Rent power carts, clubs and pull carts to golfers.
- Organizes, displays, and sells merchandise.
- Completes and maintains proper city forms, reports, and information for Pro Shop staff.
- Oversee the proper use of the golf course, clubhouse, and Pro Shop, and enforce rules and policies.
- Provides for a clean and safe work environment.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Six months prior experience in a similar work environment, with some continuing education preferred.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to learn pro shop procedures; computer experience desired.
- Maintains reasonable, predictable, and regular attendance during the workweek.
