Job Description

The Odom Corporation seeks a self‑motivated Merchandiser to stock, rotate, pull and display products at customer locations. The role requires safe and clean merchandising under minimal direct supervision.

• Daily visits to customer locations to merchandise and maintain products through stocking, rotating, dusting, and building displays.
• Stocks and rotates products on the floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, and type.
• Examines stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and documents the number of products received or distributed.
• Performs essential job duties accurately, efficiently, safely, and on time, especially during peak hours.
• Discards trash and empty boxes prior to departure from each customer account.
• Displays promotional materials such as POS and signage in accordance with company and store policies.
• Builds displays following Supervisor or Sales Representative directions.

• Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of insurance (SR‑22 not acceptable), and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in beverage industry or grocery retail preferred.
• Self‑starter who can work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to handle competing priorities quickly.

• Operates pallet jack and hand cart to transport products safely.
• Constantly lifts, moves, pushes, pulls 27–55 lbs; occasionally up to 170 lbs.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting from floor to waist, shoulders to overhead, using hands and arms; may sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Moderate to high noise levels due to environmental factors.
