Read AI is seeking a Spanish-speaking Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This role is not a traditional BDR; you will wear multiple hats as an SDR, MDR, and marketing representative, supporting the sales team to grow revenue and brand awareness. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B SaaS sales background and thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
The RoleRead AI is looking for a Spanish-speaking BDR to qualify a high volume of inbound leads, perform outbound prospecting into target markets, and collaborate with Account Executives to help plan accounts and shape sales strategy.
Responsibilities- The BDR will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients.
- The BDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy and uses that information to align and sell Read AI.
- This role spends approximately 75% of time qualifying prospects for the sales team through outbound prospecting and 25% qualifying inbound leads.
- Receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic discovery and thorough qualification.
- Gain in-depth experience in a rapidly growing AI SaaS startup.
- Individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Business Development.
- Use the CRM strategically to record information and identify additional opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Create and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns using a mix of call and email outreach.
- Experience:
Prior experience in B2B sales, ideally with SaaS or technology solutions. - Track Record:
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in an early-stage startup environment. - Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. - Sales
Skills:
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, especially in managing inbound and outbound leads. - Technical Aptitude:
Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions. - CRM Proficiency:
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. - Collaboration:
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, with an additional performance-based variable component of up to 30%. Actual total compensation will depend on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
