Job DescriptionRead AI is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our customer base and revenue by engaging and closing new business opportunities, particularly through a significant volume of inbound leads generated by our strong consumer user base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, particularly within the SaaS industry, and will thrive in a fast‑paced, early‑stage startup environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers at prospective customer organizations.
- Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and Read AI.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align on go‑to‑market strategies and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new customers.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in B2B sales, focusing on SaaS or technology solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in an early‑stage startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present, demo, and influence decision‑makers.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, especially in managing inbound leads.
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

CompensationThe annual base salary is $75,000 ($150K OTE) with an additional performance‑based variable component that can match the base salary. Actual total compensation will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
