We partner with brands to build meaningful work across campaigns, film, and experiential projects. We are growing our network and looking for a Business Development Executive who can help us identify opportunities, build relationships, and expand our agency pipeline with intention and strategic clarity.
Role OverviewAs a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building Deux Vingt's new business pipeline from the ground up. This is a hands‑on, performance‑driven role where you'll prospect, qualify, and close new client relationships across luxury hospitality, premium travel, and adjacent high‑value sectors. You'll operate with significant autonomy, managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation. This role offers substantial commission upside tied directly to closed business, rewarding those who can open doors and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities- Build and execute a prospecting strategy to identify and engage potential clients in target verticals including luxury hospitality, premium travel platforms, and high‑end brands.
- Generate qualified leads through cold outreach, warm introductions, networking, and industry research.
- Qualify opportunities based on scope, budget, timing, and alignment with agency capabilities.
- Manage the full sales cycle: initial conversations, follow‑up, proposal development, pitch presentations, and contract negotiation.
- Develop pitch materials and capabilities presentations in collaboration with creative leadership.
- Maintain disciplined tracking of pipeline activity, conversations, and deal progress in CRM tools.
- Attend industry events and conferences to build network and strengthen agency visibility.
- Provide market intelligence on emerging opportunities, competitive landscape, and client needs.
- Work independently with minimal support infrastructure—this role requires self‑sufficiency in research, outreach, and administrative follow‑through.
- 4–6+ years of business development, sales, or account development experience in creative, marketing, production, or agency environments.
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business opportunities with measurable results.
- Strong understanding of agency services, creative production timelines, and budget structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage senior decision‑makers.
- Experience developing proposals and leading pitch processes.
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles (6–9 months) with patience and persistence.
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to operate with full autonomy.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and comfort with rejection and iteration.
