Industrial Sales Manager – Washington & AlaskaThis role drives sales outcomes for our Washington and Alaska Industrial Sales Regions. You will work closely with account salespeople, the NCAS specialist team, Industrial inside sales, and the Construction group to grow our portfolio of products.
What You Will Do- Guide and mentor sales associates across goal planning, strategies, opportunity management, and sales disciplines.
- Collaborate with other North Coast divisions to expand the company’s product portfolio.
- Build and maintain an annual budget system for all salespeople.
- Utilize the Customer Sales Software (SSM) and other Sonepar tools to identify customer opportunities and gaps.
- Maintain a sales funnel to achieve sales goals for all products and services.
- Understanding of the electrical distribution business.
- Experience with Allen Bradley or equivalent automation systems (smart devices, small controllers, industrial control, sensors, safety, distributed I/O).
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication in a team environment.
- Self‑driven and proactive desire to deepen knowledge of Rockwell Automation/Allen‑Bradley products and services.
- College degree preferred; equal experience and expertise acceptable.
- Professional office environment with frequent computer use.
- Regional travel to customers, vendors, jobsites, and North Coast Service Centers; occasional out‑of‑area travel for training and trade shows.
- Consistent monthly travel to the Alaska region.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good driving record.
- Exempt position – not subject to overtime.
- Annual compensation: $147,900 to $196,000, DOE.
